Bristol By Night

I have rode my bike passed these cranes for the best part of a year and never really noticed them until the other week. Beneath the towering structures of the cranes lies the under constructed Southmead Hospital. Although these cranes are not permanent structures they have become apart of the skyline for some time and I thought it was only fair to get a shot of them before they disappear for good.

Croyde Bay

A trip down south to Croyde Bay this afternoon brought with it a welcomed refreshing break from a busy week at uni.

Hereford Sunrise

One good thing about winter is you don't have to get up early to see the sunrise, this was taken about 8ish just before new day. The shot points south east looking over Hereford City towards Ross-on-Wye.

Brecon

I went for a hike around the Brecon Beacons this morning, beautiful weather but my it was cold. This picture is of a reservoir in the Beacons taken from the bottom wall that crosses the valley.

Kington & Radnor

I bought a Hama Filter, ND2 - 400 (58mm) which is a Neutral Density variable filter that gives you more control over how much light enters the camera. The benefit is that you can take long exposure shots in the day time and achieve the blurry affect of moving objects. For example water flowing or a car moving past.

Hereford at Night

I was back in Hereford for Christmas which was really nice as i got to catch up with friends and family. However there isnt really a lot to do in Hereford except drink and be merry, or....well that's about it so one evening, after I couldn't take 'being merry' any more I went for a walk down by the river. Everything was all closed up as you would expect for the time of year, the only people who I passed by were dedicated dog walkers and the odd random drunk. Anyway I managed to take some shots of the area which was nice, had been a while since I had spent any real time back in Hereford.
